Abstract

The article begins by showing that the advent of the pandemic brought about the need for “remote education”, which, however, required certain conditions that were not satisfactorily fulfilled. But to understand the proposed theme, it is observed that it is necessary to explain the context of the current crisis in which we were surprised by the Coronavirus pandemic. The political crisis is then characterized, showing that it begins in the June 2013 Conferences, which, hegemonized by reactionary movements with external funding and with broad support from the mainstream media, started the “hybrid war” in Brazil. As a result, the 2016 coup took place, breaking the democratic institutional framework, resulting in a series of arbitrary measures. This picture was legitimized with the election of Bolsonaro in an election that consummated the suicide of Brazilian democracy. Once the political crisis is characterized, an analysis is made of the disastrous management of the pandemic in which Brazil lost the opportunity to set itself an example for the whole world in the face of Covid-19. Once the context is presented, the problem related to the presence in the teaching process is addressed, complementing with the consideration that the current teaching structure has been making good quality higher education unfeasible. And the article ends by noting that the curricular organization should promote the opening of the black box of the “knowledge society”, guaranteeing all students access to the scientific foundations of the microelectronic revolution that is at the base of both the automation of the production process and the technologies of information that move in the virtual environments of electronic communication.
